Title: The sound of chiding scorn
Performance
Year: 2015
Created for and performed during The International Festival of Making Theatre in Athens, Greece
With Karla Isidorou and Kira van Ginneken
A choreography based on the architecture of the place where the performance happenend.
Repetitive movement and breathing got the performers and the audience in a trance together.
One rule among the three performers: I don't stop until someone else stops.
For us, it was finding an extra reservoir of strength and stamina, over and over and over, in connection with each other and the audience. The audience projected their own experiences and thoughts on our tiring bodies, and became with us as they saw in us their continuously moving life, work, world, relationships, difficulties, hope.
